Homeowner Watches Own BMW Get Stolen In Livingston
Two vehicles were reported stolen in Livingston on two days this week, including a BMW in front of a home.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — Livingston police said that two vehicles were reported stolen this week.
On Sunday afternoon, at 3:47 p.m. police responded to a Brentwood Drive home on a report of a stolen vehicle, police said.
The homeowner heard their 2021 BMW start, according to police. The person "then looked out the window to see it driving away at a high rate of speed."

The vehicle was accidentally left unlocked with the key fob inside, police said.

Police said that on Monday, they responded to a report of a Caterpillar skid steer being stolen from a commercial construction site.
A company working at 644 West Mount Pleasant avenue told police at 9:53 a.m. Monday that the vehicle was stolen some time in the last few days.
The person said that someone cut the fence and removed the skid steer. The Livingston Detective Bureau is investigating.
