How Does The Early School Garden Grow...With Loving Care!

Planting and growing a flower or vegetable garden is a rewarding endeavor. The campers and students of the Early School of Temple B'nai Abraham experienced that joy firsthand as they recently participated in the planting and care of a brand new garden. They started with preparing the soil before they planted summer vincas and cone flowers. The children will be taking care of watering as the flowers grow. In the fall mums will be planted as well as bulbs that will grow in the spring. In the spring one section will be utilized as a vegetable garden. The young gardeners will weed the garden and plant their chosen flowers and vegetables which they will cultivate over the various seasons. Shown is Early School student watering the newly rooted plants. The Early School is now enrolling students for fall registration. All Early School classes, toddlers to 5 years old, are open to nonmembers and offers before-and after- care hours.
