Livingston schools received their report cards Tuesday from the state of New Jersey. The reports show how the measure up and provide breakdowns in a myriad of categories, including instructional time, class size, attendance, teacher degree level and computer use.
“The hallmark of a great place to live includes great schools and a community dedicated to its children twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Livingston is that community,” said Dr. Brad Draeger, Superintendent of Livingston Public Schools in his report to the state Department of Education.
Livingston Patch has posted the report card for every school in the district and links to the NJ Department of Education. (Be advised, in cases where charts are missing columns, please go directly to the state department to see all the data. Links are provided on the names of each school).

According to the Department of Education, one of its goals is to increase school- and district-level accountability for educational progress by communicating useful information to members of the public to be used in measuring how well their schools are doing. The New Jersey School Report Card has provided the public with information about every school in New Jersey since 1995 when the Legislature mandated the annual accountability report.
