Once a month Temple B’nai Abraham’s Club TBA’s Culinary Kids Adventures meet to create delicious recipes based on the holidays or themes. Club TBA, for grade 3-6, meets right after Jewish Learning Program classes, from 5:30-6:30 pm. The program includes a pizza dinner, crafts, socializing, and this year Jewish cooking. This month’s recipe was a honey applesauce cake, a popular baked good for Rosh HaShanah. Club TBA members mixed together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, butter, honey, sugar, eggs, and unsweetened applesauce. Each Club TBA member took home their own personal mini- loaf honey cake. Emails are pouring in with rave reviews!
