Series of Solo Piano Recitals featuring Three of the World’s Foremost Artists

This year Temple B’nai Abraham celebrates solo piano recitals by great Jewish pianists, each from a different country. The first recital in the series presents Arnaldo Cohen , October 17, 7:30 PM.

The Brazilian-born pianist Arnaldo Cohen, now living in the United States, has long had a reputation for astonishing his audiences with the musical authority and blistering virtuosity of his performances. He was named to the jury of the next Van Cliburn Competition, the most important and prestigious piano competition in the world!

Open to the community! Bring your friends! Admission fees per recital: General admission: $25 Students: $18. This series is underwritten by the Ann & Milton Colman/Samuel A. Cohen Fund. Tickets available at the door.

Upcoming recitals are with Joseph Kalichstein on Sunday, November 22, 3:00 PM and Vladimir Feltsman on Sunday, March 20, 3:00 PM. They will play major works from throughout the classical piano repertoire, representing the breadth of Jewish pianistic accomplishment.
