LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston Police Department will be holding its sixth Junior Police Academy this summer.
Here’s what to know about the annual effort for 2025, according to a news release from the LPD:
“This fun, week-long program offers students entering 6th, 7th or 8th grade in fall 2025 a glimpse into the world of law enforcement. Through presentations from various agencies, field trips, hands-on activities, and physical training, participants will learn what it takes to be a police officer. The academy will run from July 7 to July 11 (7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.) Livingston residents can apply starting March 3, with a deadline of March 28. A fee will be charged per attendee. Space is limited to 60 students, so early registration is encouraged.”
