JVS Earns Three-Year Accreditation from CARF International

Non-profit organization meets highest level of international standards for providing measurable, accountable, high-quality service

EAST ORANGE AND LIVINGSTON, NJ — Jewish Vocational Service of MetroWest NJ (JVS) announced that it has been accredited for a three-year period from CARF International for its Comprehensive Vocational Evaluation Services, Employee Development Services, Organizational Employment Services and Community Employment Services which includes Employment Support and Job Development. CARF is an independent, non-profit accrediting body that helps organizations measure and improve the quality of their programs and services. The non-profit was also evaluated from an overall management and operations perspective.

By achieving the highest level of CARF accreditation, JVS demonstrates that it conforms to CARF’s rigorous requirements for quality and is committed to pursuing excellence throughout its entire organization. To be awarded the certification, JVS’ Rehabilitation group demonstrated to a team of surveyors that its programs and services met CARF’s most exacting measures.

“The CARF three-year certification is the single highest measure of excellence in the Rehabilitation area of JVS. It is a comprehensive evaluation that encompasses more than 900 measures and we are proud of our staff’s efforts,” said Michael Goldberg, JVS Board President. “This recognition speaks to JVS’ commitment to its partners and clients. We value CARF’s guidance as we continue to grow and improve and again, we applaud our staff.”
