LIVINGSTON, NJ – On Sunday, Livingston’s Temple Emanu-El of West Essex hosted The Klezmer group Tsu Fil Duvids, which is Yiddish for “too many Davids,” in a revival concert, which was coordinated by Bobi Littman from the Adult Education Committee, as one of the temple’s largest functions of the year. A full-course hot dinner catered by Argyle Market followed the concert.
The upbeat and lively Jewish folk music, in the tradition of the Ashkenazi Jews of Eastern Europe, invited members of the congregation to join in through clapping, dancing, and in one song—singing along.
