Labor Day: Livingston Town Offices Closed, No Trash or Recycling

All Livingston Township offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 3 for Labor Day. Garbage and Recycling will not be collected.

Livingston Town Hall and all Township offices will be closed on Monday, September 3, 2018, in honor of the Labor Day holiday.

The Livingston Express Shuttle will not run on Labor Day, and Waste Industries will not collect garbage or recycling that day.

There will be no garbage collection on Monday, September 3. If garbage is regularly collected on Monday, garbage will be picked up on the next regularly scheduled day, which is Thursday, September 6.

Recycling Collection

Recycling will not be collected on Monday, September 3, and collection for all homes in Livingston will move forward 1 day all week. Therefore, Monday’s recycling will instead be picked up on Tuesday, 9/4; Tuesday’s recycling moves to Wednesday, 9/5; Wednesday’s recycling moves to Thursday, 9/6; Thursday’s recycling moves to Friday, 9/7; and Friday’s recycling will be picked up on Saturday, 9/8.
