LACD Kicks Off Winter Sports Clinic

The Livingston Advisory Committee for Disabilities hosts the first of four Winter Sports Clinics for special needs children

Children with special needs are invited to participate in winter sports clinics sponsored by The Livingston Advisory Committee for Disabilities.  The four clinics to be held this winter  are: Soccer (December 4th),  Basketball (January 8th), Kickball (February 12th), and Baseball (March 4th). All the clinics will be held from noon to 1 p.m. at the at 321 South Livingston Avenue.

The first clinic, soccer, will take place this Sunday for children to learn or improve upon their skills and game in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.  The free clinic is also a great opportunity for the children to practice their social skills in a natural setting. No pre-registration is required as the clinic is drop-in.  For more information, please call 973-970-4441.

Also offered by the LACD is the annual holiday party on Saturday, Dec. 17 from noon to 2 p.m. at the at 204 Hillside Avenue.  Guests will celebrate with food, beverages, DJ music and a visit from Santa!  Guests are kindly asked to each bring a dessert to share with fellow partygoers.
