Lacrosse Season Is Coming Up

Livingston Lacrosse is holding a special winter program as well as regular season sign ups.

Online sign up time is open for Livingston Lacrosse programs. 

A special indoor winter play program for boys in third- to eighth-grade and girls in fourth- to eighth-grade will run throughout January and February.

The organization is also holding online sign up for three other lacrosse programs for boys and girls from kindergarten to eighth-grade during the regular playing season of March to June, said Eric Rosenson, the group's president.

The boys winter program will meet 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Fridays at the Millburn Sports Center and the girls program will meet 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays at Hillside Elementary School, Rosenson said. The fee is $75 for boys and $40 for girls.

- Super Scooper clinics for boys and girls in kindergarten and first-grade to teach the basics of the game. No equipment is needed. The program lasts from mid-April to June. The fee is $100 per child.

- In-town league for boys and girls in second- and third-grade. The program lasts from March to June. The fee is $135 per child. 

- Travel team for boys and girls in fourth- to eighth-grade. The program lasts from March to June. The fee is $200 per child. Third-grade boys in the in-town league who successfully try out for the travel team also play for a fee of $200.

There is a $50 late fee for participants who sign up after Jan. 15, Rosenson said.
