Livingston 2018 Tax Lien Sale; Several Properties At Risk

The buyers and sellers of debt will turn their eyes to Livingston on Dec. 27.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The buyers and sellers of debt will cast their eyes to Livingston on Thursday, Dec. 27 when municipal officials hold the town's annual tax sale.

According to a municipal notice, the online sale at 8:30 a.m. will expose for taxes and/or other municipal charges remaining unpaid for the year 2018. (Learn more here)

New Jersey law requires all 566 municipalities to hold at least one tax sale per year if the municipality has delinquent property taxes and/or municipal charges. Winning bidders must immediately pay municipalities the outstanding taxes and interest.
