Millburn's second doubles siblings Sebastian and Nicky Chen-Schmidt scored the first point, beating Spencer Luster and Kevin Sun 6-3, 6-2. The next two points went to Livingston's undefeated first and second singles players.

Top court player Thomas Caputo defeated Rob Xie 6-3, 6-2, and Brandon Goldstein defeated Teddy Moskovitz at second singles 6-0, 6-3. Playing third singles, Nikhil Vohra notched a 6-1, 6-4 win for Millburn against Curtis Chao.
With the match tied at 2-2, victory hinged on the first doubles results. Lancers Jesse Bloom and Ben Hanf kept the pressure on the Millers' Dan Feldman and Mac Johnson, clinching a 6-4, 7-6 (5) win.
