Livingston Business Honored for Philanthropic Efforts

Jewish Vocational Service of MetroWest NJ (JVS) recently honored a group of individuals for their outstanding philanthropic efforts. On June 21, the nonprofit, community-based health and human service organization held its annual Taste and Toast fundraising gala at the Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange to personally thank those who continuously perform at the highest level to carry out the JVS mission of “Helping People to Help Themselves.” This year, the event raised $350,000 to improve the life-enhancing services that the organization offers to its diverse clientele.

Among the event honorees was Sobel & Co. - a public accounting firm that consistently contributes to the growth of its clients, while also helping nonprofit organizations and those in need through notable philanthropic activities. The firm was presented with the Corporate Partner award for the continued support that its team has provided to JVS.

Company Founder, Alan Sobel, has made it Sobel & Co.'s mission to equally serve business and pro bono clients with a set of core values that are the life of the firm. He and his employees feel strongly about supporting those who do good and have a passion for helping local nonprofit organizations achieve their missions of helping the world’s most vulnerable.
