Livingston Council Meets Monday To Vote On Easement, Surplus

Livingston Township has scheduled its next council meeting for Monday night and will vote on a property easement and more.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Livingston will hold its council conference meeting and regular council meeting this coming Monday starting at 7 p.m. to discuss and vote on a variety of issues.

The conference meeting, at which the council discusses items for future meetings, will be held at 7. The regular council meeting is at 7:30.

There is a public portion at each meeting at which members of the public can speak on any issue. At the conference meeting there's a three-minute limit; at the regular meeting, the limit is four minutes.

Easement, Surplus, And Cricket

At the meeting, there will be proclamations and presentations for Cricket Championships, World Polio Day, Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Township of Livingston, An Age Friendly Community.

Also at the meeting, the council will hold a final vote to accept an easement of property to allow for drainage and utilities. The easement is for 20-foot wide swath of land at 284 West Hobart Gap Road, at Praval Court. Property owner Kenny Praval applied to subdivide the lot into four properties in 2018. The easement property will hold an underground sanitary sewer system.

The council will also vote on selling off surplus property, including two vehicles that they now deem unuseable.
