Essex County will hold a Used Tire Recycling and Paper Shredding Day on Saturday, June 27, 2020. During the hours of 9 am to 1 pm, Essex County residents may bring tires and documents to be recycled to the Essex County Public Works Fleet Maintenance Facility, 99 West Bradford Avenue, Cedar Grove.

Tires
Old tires with or without rims will be collected. Tire rims will be recycled as scrap metal.
Paper Shredding
Destroy important documents safely and securely. All shredded paper will be recycled.

Guidelines
Social distancing guidelines will be followed. Residents should remain in their vehicles with the windows rolled up. Face coverings are required.
The event is free to all Essex County residents. Commercial and large quantity users may not drop of items. Residents must provide proof of residency at the site.
