Livingston Fire Report: Middle School Fire Alarm Goes Off / Stuck In Elevator / Burned Food / Computer Short

Wednesday, November 4th – 2 Calls
Mt. Pleasant Middle School - Fire alarm transmission, system activated due to pull station getting wet as result of custodians working in pit of stairwell #3. System was reset and school authorities on scene and advised.

29 Billingsley Dr. - Fire alarm transmission, no problem found. Malfunction with system.
Thursday, November 5th – 1 Call

59 Hazel Ave - Reported possible smoke condition in residence, residence was checked with thermal imager and nothing found. Homeowner advised and satisfied.
Friday, November 6th – 2 Calls
Inglemoor Care Center - Fire alarm transmission, system activated as result of system being tested by central station. No problem.
5000 Point Gate Dr. - Report of occupants stuck in elevator, occupants both out prior to dept. arrival. Unit was shut down and repair company notified
Saturday, November 7th – 2 Calls
300 E. Northfield Rd. - Fire alarm transmission due to smoke from a shorted out computer. Building was vented.
4 Millstone Dr. - Fire alarm transmission, activation as result of cooking. System was reset.
Sunday, November 8th – 2 Calls
8 Nottingham Dr. - Fire alarm transmission, alarm set off as result of smoke from cooking. No problem.
3000 Murray Ct. - Report of a gas odor in building. Building was checked with dept. meter and nothing found.
Monday, November 9th – 1 Call
5 Canterbury Rd. - Fire alarm transmission, system activated due to burned food. Homeowner on scene and reset system.
