Livingston Group Raises $60K To Support People With Disabilities

The Arc of Essex County raised more than $60,000 during its Building Tomorrows 5K run and family day at the Clipper Pavilion in West Orange.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — A Livingston-based nonprofit recently raised more than $60,000 during its annual Building Tomorrows 5K run and family day at the Clipper Pavilion in West Orange.

The Arc of Essex County, a Livingston-based nonprofit that provides support to individuals with intellectual and development disabilities throughout Northern New Jersey, hosted its 21st “Building Tomorrows 5K Run, Family Walk and Fun Fest” on April 27.

According to a news release from the nonprofit, hundreds of walkers, runners and families from Essex County and beyond participated in the daylong event. The event raised more than $60,000; all proceeds will support The Arc of Essex County’s mission.
