Livingston High School Forensics Team Captures Awards
See the list of Livingston High School students who earned awards during recent debate competitions.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston High School Forensics Speech and Debate team came away with nine awards – including the fourth-place team sweepstakes trophy – during the recent Newark CFL tournament at Ridge High School.
On Nov. 10, the 24 members of the LHS team put in a spirited showing. The following individual students captured awards:
- Jaina Jallow, First Place in Varsity Declamation
- Bela Battu, First Place in JV Oral Interpretation
- Neel Sahni and Hao Lawrence Chen, First Place in JV Public Forum
- Karen Hu, Third Place in Varsity Oral Interpretation of Literature
- Spencer Konecky, Fourth Place in JV Oral Interpretation
- Aryan Pradham, Fourth Place in JV Lincoln Douglas
- Gene Lu, Quarter Finalist in Varsity Lincoln Douglas
- Ethan Reiter and Joseph Kim, Quarter Finalist in Varsity Public Forum
In addition, on Saturday, October 20, a group of 22 team members competed in the Newark CFL tournament at Union Catholic Regional High School. The Lancers earned six awards, including the fourth-place team sweepstakes trophy.
