Livingston High School Jazz Band Wins Award, Praise At Festival
The Lancers Jazz band and one of its members were recognized in several ways at the jazz festival in Piscataway.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston High School Lancer Jazz Band recently performed at the Piscataway High School Jazz Festival. Under the direction of James Hegedus, the band received a Gold rating and was the only visiting high school band to earn a rating that high.
The band also received the award for Best Saxophone Section and its vocalist, Zoe Parrot, received the award for Best Soloist.
