Livingston To Hold Virtual Workshop On Technology, Mental Health

The workshop will focus on how technology can have both positive and negative effects on teens' well-being, learning and self-esteem.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston Mayor’s Wellness Campaign will host a virtual presentation on technology, social media, and mental health on Tuesday, March 11 from 7 to 8 p.m.

According to organizers, the workshop will focus on understanding how technology can have both positive and negative effects on teens’ well-being, learning, and self-esteem. Parents will learn how to set healthy limits, and support and guide their teens in using technology responsibly and safely. Parents will leave with a better understanding of the importance of face-to-face interactions, physical activity, and outdoor time.
