Mr. Hegedus, Director of the Lancer Band, and Mr. Donough, Director of the Lab Band, have been rehearsing with the students for several months to prepare for this special evening. “We’ve been practicing hard and it’s going to be a fun night!” says Carley Margolis, a sophomore at LHS.
Eli Siegel, an LHS senior, shared his thoughts on the event: “It’s incredible to play with people who really have a passion for what they do. Each song has its own unique style.”

The Jazz Bands Dinner Dance started nine years ago to highlight the talented student musicians and to serve as a fundraiser for the Band Boosters. It continues to be a huge success, with nearly 200 people attending each year.
“I love playing music that is enjoyable and enriching,” added Victoria Hosteler, a junior at LHS.
Attendees will enjoy a fun night of dinner and dancing. "I really enjoy performing for an audience that can dance to our music, not just on a stage" says Scott Faber, an LHS senior.
Proceeds from the evening are used to help buy equipment for all the LHS bands (jazz bands, concert bands, marching band) and provide scholarships to graduating seniors.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.lhsbandboosters.org or at the door the night of the show. Ticket prices are $20 for Adults ($25 if purchased after 2/15), $15 for Students/Senior Citizens and $5 for children under 12.
For questions or more information, contact jazzdance@lhsbandboosters.org. In the case of inclement weather, the snow date for this event is March 3, from 5 to 8 p.m.
