Livingston Interfaith Thanksgiving Service Next Sunday
Plan to attend this special service which really signifies the beginning of the Holiday Season
One of the most successful Livingston Celebrations will be held on Sunday November 20th at 5:00 PM.
The Livingston Interfaith Thanksgiving Celebration will be held at Livingston Presbyterian Church., 271 W. Northfield Ave.
The Theme this year is “Coming Together”.

Pastor Daniel Martian, Rabbi Simeon Cohen, Cantor Perry Fine, Rev. Susan Gillespie and LPC Music Director Abagail Schumer have put together a wonderful program filled with music, heartfelt inspiration and a message of celebration as we welcome in the start of the holiday season.
The program will be filled with music from at least three Choirs and Inspirational presentations from Pastoral and Lay members of the community.

We have so much for which we can be thankful. We have made it to another year, to another Thanksgiving, a holiday we all can celebrate. It is truly a season of coming together.
A little history about this event… When Livingston celebrated its Bicentennial Anniversary in 2013, the Committee responsible for running the celebration discovered a small event that was almost overlooked in past years. With the help of some funding for the celebration, a spectacular event was held at previous Temple Emanuel as a primary Bicentennial event. There were so many people in attendance; the temple building was filled to capacity as well as the parking lots of the Temple and the adjacent Presbyterian Church.
The massive turnout, as well as the fantastic comments heard from all who attended, created the momentum to make this special program a yearly event. In the past 9 years, the Sunday before Thanksgiving became a day to celebrate the official start of the holiday Season.

Nonperishable food will be collected at the event in support of Livingston Ministries CHOW and Livingston Helping Neighbors Food Pantry.
