Livingston Lecturer Distills All Jewish History Into 1 Hour
Think it's impossible to recount the rich, expansive Jewish history into a single hour? Talk to David Myers.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Here’s a challenge for Livingston’s silver-tongued: distill all of Jewish history into one hour.
If the mere thought of such a lingual feat ties your tongue, then you’ll be even more impressed with what David Myers, president of the Center for Jewish History, did at Temple B'nai Abraham in Livingston earlier this month.
On Sept. 6, Myers - a UCLA professor of history and a frequent speaker at Temple B'nai Abraham - gave a lively discussion of his recently published "Jewish History," part of the prestigious Oxford University Press' “A Very Short Introduction” series.

As part of the event, Myers gave an hour-long, condensed version of the book in lecture format, thrilling a crowd of more than 200 attendees with his speedy but substantial narration.
