April’s selection for the Monday at the Movies Series is 2014’s The Hundred-Foot Journey, starring Helen Mirren, Manish Dayal, Charlotte Le Bon and Om Puri. It will be shown at 1:30 pm on Monday, April 27th, and again at 7:00 pm that evening.
Travel from India with the Kadam family to France, where they meet the snobbish Madame Mallory, who becomes their rival. The film is filled with great sadness, culinary delights and romance, which all lead to a cultural and personal understanding that will change both sides forever. It is rated PG-13 and runs 122 minutes.
