Livingston Library's Teen Crafters Knit, Donate Scarves
Two local students knit the scarves for the Emily's Hats for Hope Initiative, which provides winter gear for homeless and working poor.
Two Livingston students - Aarti Contractor and Megan Downey - recently used their knitting skills to create and donate scarves for the Emily’s Hats for Hope Initiative, which provides winter gear for local homeless and working poor.
The scarves were created as part of the Livingston Public Library’s Teen Crafters program, which teaches children and teens how to knit and crochet.
The program, led by Amanda Winter and Jan Aji, starts its new season on Sept. 21. Registration opens Sept. 1 at 10 a.m.
