LIVINGSTON, NJ — Teen clothing retailer Rue21 has announced it will be closing 400 stores, including its Livingston Mall location. It was a "difficult but necessary decision," the Pennsylvania-based retailer said in a Saturday Facebook post.
In addition to the Livingston Mall location, the following New Jersey-area locations will be closing, according to the Rue21 website:

- HAMILTON MALL (Mays Landing)
According to The Associated Press, Rue21 is closing approximately one-third of its locations nationwide to focus on online sales.
