Livingston Mall Now Has An Electric Vehicle Charger Station

Good news, Tesla owners… You can charge up your car while you shop at the Livingston Mall.

Simon and NRG EVgo recently announced the installation of a Freedom Station electric vehicle charging location at the mall.

The new charging station is located near the mall entrance between Barnes & Noble and Macy’s.

Shoppers with compatible cars can use the CHAdeMO DC fast charger, which has the ability to provide a Nissan LEAF an 80 percent charge in less than 30 minutes, according to a release.

The Freedom Station also provides two Level 2 chargers, able to charge all EVs and plug-in hybrid vehicles.

“Adding car charging stations to the area illustrates the many opportunities we have as a company to incorporate sustainable practices into our day-to-day operations,” said John Westbrook, general manager for Livingston Mall.
