Livingston Man Charged With DUI After Striking Pole: Police
A 21-year-old Livingston man was charged with DUI after his vehicle struck several items, police said.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — A 21-year-old Livingston man has been charged with driving while under the influence after his car hit a curb, hydrant, and utility pole, Livingston police said.
Police said that on Friday around 4:12 p.m., Matthew Finkelstein was operating a minivan on South Ashby Avenue when it left the roadway. Police said it hit the curb, hydrant, and pole, then came to rest in front of 49 South Ashby Ave.
The driver, Finkelstein, was charged with driving under the influence and was issued other motor vehicle tickets, police said.
