Livingston Man Dies In Motorcycle Crash Over Weekend: NJ Police

A Livingston man died in a motorcycle crash on Route 280 over the weekend, the New Jersey State Police said.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — A 44-year-old Livingston man died in a motorcycle accident early on Friday morning, the state police said.

Jason M. Otero sustained fatal injuries in the crash on Route 280 on Friday, police said.

The State Police said that they responded at 1:14 a.m. to I-280 East milepost 0.5 in Parsippany-Troy Hills Twp., in Morris County.

They said that based on a preliminary investigation, the Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Otero ran off the road at that location, striking a concrete barrier and overturning.

The accident remains under investigation and there is no further information available, police said Monday afternoon.
