Livingston Man Makes Forbes ‘Best Wealth Advisor’ List

LIVINGSTON, NJ — A Livingston financial advisor made the 2019 Forbes “Best-in-State Wealth Advisors" list: Paul Selvin.

According to a news release from Merrill Lynch, Selvin leads the Selvin Group, which is based out of Merrill’s 5th Avenue flagship office. The team also includes his partner, financial advisor and assistant vice president Robert Furst, another Livingston native.

The Forbes "Best-in-State Wealth Advisors" ranking was developed by SHOOK Research and evaluates each advisor based on qualitatively factors (client retention, industry experience, review of compliance records, and firm nominations) and quantitative criteria, including assets under management and revenue generated for their firms.

In all, 1,019 of its advisors are included on this year’s list, the most of any firm, according to Merrill Lynch.
