Livingston May See ‘Yellow Water’ Due To Main Break: Officials

Some Livingston residents may experience "yellow water" flowing from their taps due to a water main break, authorities said.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Some Livingston residents may experience “yellow water” flowing from their taps due to a water main break that took place Tuesday, authorities said.

The Livingston Police Department issued the following alert about the water main break:

“If you are experiencing yellow water or pressure issues there is a large water main break on W. Hobart Gap Road which is affecting the whole town. It should be repaired soon. Once it’s repaired you should run your water until the yellow disappears. We will post once it’s repaired.”

No additional information was immediately available.
