Livingston PD Graduates ‘Citizens Police Academy’ Class
The participants of the Livingston Citizens Police Academy have earned a well-deserved kudos from their local police department.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The participants of the Livingston Citizens Police Academy have earned a well-deserved kudos from their local police department.
The Livingston Police Department recently graduated its Citizens Police Academy class, a no-cost 10-week program designed to give participants an understanding of the operation of the Livingston Police Department and a working knowledge of what law enforcement entails.
According to the LPD, participants learned about several aspects of police work, including dispatch, traffic enforcement, Emergency Service Unit, the criminal justice system, firearms, crime scene investigation and community policing.
