LIVINGSTON PICKLEBALL and UNICO Team Up for OktoberFeast
Pickleball is a big hit at UNICOs first Italian Festival in many years

For the first time in a long time Livingston UNICO held their Italian Festival, This past weekend, and called it OktoberFeast. It featured rides, games, food, A Beer/Wine Garden, live music and Pickleball in the St. Philomena gym. Pickleball proved to be very popular. Despite the poor weather, young and old came to learn the game and many of the LIVINGSTON PICKLEBALL players were on hand to offer instruction. Pictured here is Stephen Joseph Mazzarella, one of the younger visitors, who listen attentively to the instructor with his Grandmother, Joyce Mazzarella also picking up tips. There was also a featured Mixed Doubled match between Mayor Al Anthony and his wife, Lori, who are avid supporters of Pickleball, vs. Marlene Zulauf and Michael Garber. The goal of LIVINGSTON PICKLEBALL was to teach as many people as possible, over the weekend, to play, raise some money for UNICO, in the form of contributions, and get everyone to have fun. They accomplished everything. If you want more information about Pickleball, email … livepickleball@yahoo.com .
