Theft of Tip Jar
On Saturday, Sept. 10 at 5:09 p.m., Livingston officers responded to Sarku Japan in the Livingston Mall. Staff said a woman stole the tip jar from the counter of the store.

Officers found the suspect at the bus stop. A 49-year-old Irvington woman had the jar in her possession, police said.
The woman was charged with receiving stolen property and hindering apprehension.

Police said she had active warrants, so she was transported to the Essex County Jail.
Everything Into The Pool
On Monday morning at 7:58 a.m., Livingston police responded to Memorial Pool at 10 Whaler Road on a report of criminal damage.
Officers found that chairs, benches and signs had been thrown into the pool some time in the overnight hours.
