Livingston Police: Car Thieves Are Back In Town

Car thieves are back in town… and they don't need any more "easy targets," Livingston police say.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The car thieves are back… and they don’t need any more “easy targets,” Livingston police say.

According to a Livingston Police Department alert issued on Wednesday, “car thieves have been back in the area and surrounding towns.”

“Over the past week we have had a car stolen, one attempted theft, and one car broken into during the overnight hours,” the LPD stated. “Our officers chased the suspects on two different nights, but were unable to apprehend them.”

Livingston police advised local residents to lock car doors and remember not to leave key fobs in the vehicles.
