Livingston Police Plan Training Exercise: ‘No Cause For Alarm’

If you see police gathered near this busy intersection in Livingston on Feb. 22 and Feb. 23, don't panic, officials say.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — If you see police gathered near North Livingston Avenue and Beverly Road in Livingston this week, you don’t have to be concerned, officials say: it’s just a training exercise.

According to an advisory from the township, a police training exercise will take place on Thursday, Feb. 22 and Friday, Feb. 23 from about 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The training will be held in the area of North Livingston Avenue and Beverly Road.

“This is a standard training exercise and there is no cause for alarm,” officials said.
