Livingston Police Run Low On Masks; Community Steps Up
"Our supply has run low," Livingston police wrote on social media. In less than an hour, they were "all set."
LIVINGSTON, NJ — The call for aid went out on the Livingston Police Department’s Facebook page: “our face mask supply has run low.”
That didn’t last long, police reported.
Recently, Livingston police shared a brief-but-positive message on social media. And it showed how eager the community is to step up during the coronavirus pandemic.

The message went out on Oct. 30:
“Good morning if you have a connection for a large supply of masks can you please email Captain Drumm at jdrumm@livingstonnj.org. Our supply has run low. Thank you.”
Livingston police soon added an update:

“Thank you. In less then an hour we received a ton of responses. We are now all set. Thank you again!”
Police added a footnote to their post in the comments section:
“On behalf of the Livingston Police Department, we would like to thank Chris and Michele Peacock and TSP Maintenance Supply for their very generous donation.”
