Livingston police are looking for help in solving three home burglaries that happened in the township early Monday night.
The first burglary happened at around 6:12 p.m. when police were notified of a home alarm going off at a house on 6 Pittsfield Court, Det. Sgt. Anthony Dippold said on Tuesday. The glass backdoor was smashed in and the master bedroom was ransacked, Dippold said.
The police received a second emergency call minutes later for a house at 7 Drummond Terrace, directly behind the house where the first burglary took place, Dippold said. The glass back door was smashed at that home as well and the master bedroom was ransacked, Dippold said.

The owners of both homes were not home during the burglaries and the police are awaiting an inventory to see if anything has been stolen, Dippold said. A neighbor by the second home saw a dark sports car with tinted windows parked in the roadway near the house just prior to the burglary, according to police.
The third burglary was reported at 7:04 p.m. at a home on 70 W. McClellan Ave., Dippold said. The burglar entered through an unlocked window and stole jewelry and a fur coat from the home, according to police.
A neighbor walking a dog on the street saw a dark sports car parked in the street just outside the home around the time of the burglary, Dippold said. The neighbor told police there was a driver sitting inside the car, and then a man who ran away from the house got into the car to leave.
