Livingston Police: Warning Issued For Residents Of Chestnut Street, Cornell Drive, Brayton Road

Livingston, NJ – Do you live in the area of Chestnut Street, Cornell Drive or Brayton Road?

The Livingston Police Department has a message for you.

Police reported on Thursday afternoon that township has seen several vehicle break-ins, a car stolen, and a house entered in the area of Chestnut Street, Cornell Drive or Brayton Road the previous night.

“We believe it occurred around 3 a.m. [on Thursday],” police stated in a social media post. “If you live in that area and have video surveillance, can you please review your cameras and see if you have anything that may be of assistance. If so can you please contact the Livingston Police Detective Bureau at (973)992-3000, ext. 3500. We would also like to remind residents to please lock your car doors and house doors at night, even if you are home.”

The post prompted a reply from one resident, who stated that he had video surveillance on Princeton Road but noticed nothing unusual between 2 and 4 a.m.
