Livingston Police Will Stop Shaving In November To Help Fight Cancer

If you meet a scraggly-faced cop in Livingston this November, you'll know that they're doing their part to support cancer research.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — If you meet a scraggly-faced cop in Livingston this November, you’ll know that they are doing their part to support cancer research.

The Livingston Police Department recently announced that some of its officers will again be participating in “No-Shave November,” a national campaign, which raises awareness and funds to support cancer prevention, research and education.

As part of the campaign, Livingston police officers will put down their razors and forego their hair appointments to help support the cause. Last year, the department raised more than $10,000 by growing their beards and hair out, police said.
