Livingston Pool Now $10 Per Day As NWS Says Heat Index Could Rise To 105 On 2 Days

LIVINGSTON, NJ — In response to the local heat wave this week — and the National Weather Service extending the heat advisory for Essex County through Sunday (see forecast below) — Livingston announced Wednesday that the pool will be open at low daily rates for all residents.

Here are the rates:

Daily Passes (18+ years): $10 per day

Daily Passes (3-17 years of age): $5 per day

Summer Hours at Haines Pool:

• Baby Pool and Lap Pool: Monday through Sunday 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
• Haines Full Pool: Monday to Friday, 12 p.m.-8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m.-8 p.m.

Summer Hours at Northland Pool:

• Friday, Saturday & Sunday 10 a.m.-8 p.m.

Double check the hours with the town before heading over.

Towns around the area have canceled events and encouraged residents to check on neighbors.

The National Weather Service forecast for Essex County says that temperatures will be in the 90s at least through the weekend. They also said that on Thursday and Sunday, heat index values could climb as high as 105. See the forecast here.
