It turns out Livingston residents aren’t shy about offering ideas about new businesses they’d like to see come to town in 2020. People replying to our social media callout earlier this week offered a range of suggestions.

  • Whole Foods
  • Trader Joe's
  • Wawa
  • Piano bar and/or coffee/tea shop featuring local musicians
  • Cigar lounge
  • Houston's
  • P.F. Chang's
  • Small bookstore
  • Casual vegetarian/vegan restaurant
  • The Salad House
  • Pakistani restaurant
  • Vegan bakery

"Small businesses" one commenter wrote. "No more large stores that put small businesses at risk of survival."

"Local bakery," another reader said. "Or real Latin food... no more chain stores or restaurants!"
