- "Coffee place that is NOT Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts. More like a Rockin Joe with comfy couches and food and maybe live music. Place that even teens can hang out."
- "A place like Jose Tejas - good affordable Mexican."
- "A casual dining space with an atrium or interior courtyard so we can dine alfresco and not be on the street. A martini/tapas bar/restaurant, a loungy dessert-gourmet coffee roaster place with good lighting and music, a pub, ANYTHING other than pizza, chinese, froyo, or nail salons."
- "Salad place! For the 1,000th time, I guarantee you they'd make a killing!"
- "Upscale chain restaurants.... like Houstons, B.J's, Yard House, Brio, Wood Ranch."
