Several Livingston Public School (LPS) staff members and students spent time together on February 3 at Equinox gym in Summit to join the battle against rare cancers. These dedicated spinners participated in Cycle for Survival, a high energy indoor team cycling event founded by the late Jennifer Goodman Linn, a former Livingston resident, and her husband Dave. A non-profit organization, Cycle for Survival raises money to fund life-saving rare cancer research.
LPS teams included The Might Mites, led by superintendent of schools Chris Steffner; Lancers vs. Cancer, led by Livingston High school assistant principal, Danielle Rosenzweig; and the Cycling Eagles of Heritage Middle School, led by HMS principal secretary Christina Woytas. Together, these LPS teams raised more than $9,000.
