Livingston Schools To Close Early Friday Due To Weather
With Essex County under a winter weather advisory, and freezing rain and ice expected, the school schedule for Friday has changed.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston School District said in a message late Thursday that "Due to the icy conditions predicted" for Friday afternoon and evening, the schools would close early Friday.
Several other Essex County districts made similar announcements.

"The PM session of PRIDE will be canceled," the district said. "All after-school activities and the YMCA aftercare program are canceled. We will be watching the weather report throughout the evening and early morning. If we need to adjust the schedule due to the inclement weather,
another message will be sent out."
