Livingston Schools Have Delayed Opening Due To Weather: Jan. 31
Due to forecasts of bad winter weather, Livingston's public schools will have a delayed opening on Thursday, Jan. 31, officials said.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Due to forecasts of bad winter weather, Livingston's public schools will operate on a delayed opening Thursday, Jan. 31, officials said.
"Livingston Public Schools will have a two-hour delayed opening tomorrow, Thursday, Jan. 31, due to frigid temperatures and icy conditions," administrators said.
The delayed opening schedule for the district follows:

- Elementary Schools: 10:05 a.m.
- Mt. Pleasant Middle School: 10:35 a.m.
- Heritage Middle School: 10:20 a.m.
- Livingston High School: 9:50 a.m.
"Please note that all buses follow the same two-hour delay and the a.m. session of PRIDE is canceled," Livingston school officials said.
Livingston school administrators’ announcement came amid freezing-cold weather on Wednesday. A “Code Blue” alert is in effect for Essex County from Wednesday, Jan. 30 to Saturday, Feb. 2.

LPS will have a 2-hour delayed opening tomorrow, Thurs, Jan 31, due to frigid temps/icy conditions. DELAYED OPENING SCHEDULE: Elementary Schools: 10:05 am; MPMS 10:35 am; HMS 10:20 am; LHS 9:50 am. All buses follow the same 2-hour delay and the A.M. session of PRIDE is canceled.
