Livingston Schools Respond To Violence Threat; Deemed Not Credible, Report Says

Livingston schools responded to a threat of violence against the high school on Monday, according to a TAPintoLivingston report.

A New Jersey school urged caution even as it deemed a violence threat on Monday as not credible, according to a TAPintoLivingston report.

TAPintoLivingston reports the school issued a response to a Facebook post Sunday evening by a woman who said she intended to "shoot up" Livingston High School at 7:40 a.m. on Monday.

"We are aware the many students and parents have seen disturbing posts through social media this evening as it pertains to our school," the school said, according to the report. "I assure you that we have been in constant contact with the Livingston Police Department throughout the night. The police have been involved in this situation as part of an active and ongoing investigation."
