Livingston Seeks Inspiring Women Nominees For Annual Awards

The event honors women in the Livingston community who have made "significant and inspiring" contributions to the township.

In celebration of Women's History Month, the Livingston Committee for Diversity and Inclusion (LCDI) is proud to announce the fourth annual "Inspiring Women of Livingston Awards Ceremony," taking place in March. The event honors women in the Livingston community who have made significant, inspiring contributions and embody resilience, leadership, and a commitment to lifting others.

LCDI is now seeking nominations from the community to recognize outstanding female residents of Livingston who have demonstrated remarkable impact through service, advocacy, or community involvement. The deadline for submissions is Friday, January 31, 2025.

Who is an Inspiring Woman?

An inspiring woman is someone who has made a meaningful difference, leaving others feeling motivated and empowered. She is a role model who uplifts others and exemplifies the best of our community.

Why Nominate?

“Every woman shapes her community with her actions, and by celebrating her impact, we honor the strength and inspiration she brings to all of us. Through these awards we look forward to telling their stories,” said Saba Khan, chair of LCDI’s Inspiring Women of Livingston subcommittee.

Nomination Criteria

Nominees must:

  • Identify as a woman
  • Be a current resident of Livingston, NJ
  • Have contributed positively to the Livingston community
  • Serve as an inspiration to those around them

Nomination Submission Requirements

To nominate a deserving woman, please provide:

  • Your Name
  • Name of the nominee
  • Your relationship to the nominee and how long you have known her
  • Description of her contributions to the Livingston community
  • Impact of her contributions on you personally
  • Any additional information for consideration
  • Please indicate the category for which this person should be considered: Education, Arts/Culture, Business, Science/Technology, Volunteering/Philanthropy, Public Service, and Rising Star (under age 25)

Nominations should be sent to lcdi.livingstonnj@gmail.com by Friday, January 31, 2025.

The Inspiring Women of Livingston Awards ceremony will not only honor selected women for their achievements but also highlight the importance of recognizing women’s contributions to fostering a stronger, more inclusive community. Additional details about the event and this year’s honorees will be shared as they become available.
