Livingston Sees 2 Car Thefts, Multiple Break-Ins: Police

Livingston police are asking some local residents to check their surveillance cameras in the wake of a string of car thefts and break-ins.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Livingston police are asking some local residents to check their surveillance cameras in the wake of a recent string of car thefts and break-ins.

According to the Livingston Police Department, “several cars” were entered and two stolen during the overnight hours of Aug. 25. The incidents took place on the following streets:

  • Downing Pl.
  • Woodland Terr.
  • Goodhart Dr.

The LPD posted the following advisory:

“If you live on those streets or surrounding streets and own surveillance cameras can you please check them for any suspicious activity overnight. We know a Black Jeep Liberty and a grey Acura TLX were taken, so surveillance may show either car or both together. Unknown what car brought our suspects to the area. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Drucks at (973)992-3000, ext. 3218.”
